Mike Morrison was born and raised in Montana until his family moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1964. He worked in the oilfield during high school, college and until 1981 when he started his own oilfield business, consulting and contract pumping.

Mike was ordained into the ministry in 1998 by Glenn Smith with Rodeo Cowboy Ministries. He started teaching the Word at his local church while working in the oilfield. From there, he taught in his living room, his garage, his shop and in 2000, the original “Church at the Barn”. Mike went into the full time ministry in January of 2000. In 2009, the new location for “Church at the Barn” was built at #2 McKenzie Road in Gillette.

I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
— John 10:10b (Amplified Version)

Sherry ministers with Mike and was ordained into the ministry by “Cowboy Church of the American West” in 2003.  Born in Wyoming, Sherry then attended grade school in Buffalo, SD.  In 1968 she moved to Gillette with her family.  Sherry’s passion, in addition to ministry, is horses.  She produced barrel futurities, barrel races, rodeo’s and team ropings as well as competing in them.  Sherry and Mike still train the horses she competes on.

Nathan and Megan Adels joined our ministry team as Associate Pastors in July of 2020. They were married in June of 2010 and are raising their two young children, Emma and Thad.

Nathan is a Gillette native and calls himself a boomerang because he just keeps coming back to Gillette! He has worked in high schools across Wyoming, teaching welding and agriculture, and in his spare time you can find him in his shop welding, woodworking, and teaching his kids how to weld.

Megan grew up in Basin, Wyoming and worked for the Converse County school district for the last 6 years. She is passionate about ministry, enjoys raising kids, going hunting, and officiating volleyball in her spare time.

Nathan and Megan were ordained by Mike and Sherry Morrison in October 2018. Together they enjoy spending time as a family and serving God in ministry!

…God, who is quickening the dead, and calling those things that be not as being.
